Biography: Tawfique Hasan is a Professor of Nanomaterials Engineering in the Cambridge Graphene Centre. He also holds a concurrent professorship at Nanjing University.

Tawfique’s group has a core interest in nanomaterials for (opto)electronics, photonics and sensing. Together with his graduate students and colleagues, he initiated the field of 2D crystal printable inks, pioneered ultrafast lasers using 2D crystals, and was the first to demonstrate high-speed printing of graphene inks in an industrial-scale flexographic printer. One of his recent interests is in low-dimensional nanostructures for light sources and detectors. Tawfique has published >120 peer-reviewed journal articles with >23,000 citations and 56 H index and presented >40 keynote and invited conference talks.
