Biography: Fuxing Gu is a professor of the Laboratory of Integrated Opto-Mechanics and Electronics (http://iome.usst.edu.cn/) at University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, China. He received his B.S. degree in 2006 and Ph.D. degree in 2012 from Zhejiang University. His research interests include photothermal-shock tweezers and their applications in nano-conventional robots. He has published more than 50 papers, such as Science, Sci. Adv., Nat. Commun., Light: Sci. & Appl. etc., in which have received a total of over 2500 citations. He hosted the Outstanding Youth Project from the National Foundation of China and was selected into the Shanghai Shuguang Project.
