Biography: Dr. Yan Yan Shery Huang is Associate Professor in Bioengineering, Head of Biointerface Group at Department of Engineering, University of Cambridge. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (FIMMM); Associate Editor of ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces.  Her group’s research themes include (i) organ-on-a-chip and tissue engineering for disease modelling. (ii) intertwining 3D printing and AI for healthcare and clinical informatics. (iii) sustainable manufacturing of sensor and wearable devices for internet of things. Shery completed her MEng degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Imperial College London. She then pursued a PhD in Physics at Cambridge. She was a visiting researcher at University of Texas at Austin, and an Oppenheimer Fellow and a Homerton College Junior Research Fellow.
