Biography: Xing Cheng joined the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Southern University of Science and Technology (Shenzhen) as a full professor in 2013. He received PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor in 2005. He joined Texas A&M University (TAMU) as an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2006, and became an Associate Professor in 2012. Xing Cheng’s research interests include high-resolution lithographic techniques, bioMEMS, and electronic devices. Xing Cheng was the recipient of the NSF CAREER Award and the DARPA Young Faculty Award.
